Meli – Office Manager
Meli has been with the practice since 1992, beginning at Etowah, our sister hospital, and then joined Allatoona when we opened in 1998. Excellent customer service is her first priority and is therefore dedicated to making every client’s experience a pleasant one. She is known for her friendly and outgoing spirit and her two adorable Boston Terriers, Spanky and Harley and her boxer Tank. Meli is married with one son, R.J.
Dana – Inventory Manager
Dana joined us in July 2000, starting as a Client Services Representative and then Assistant Office Manager until becoming our Inventory Manager in 2004. Dana is married and has 2 dogs she rescued (Shasta - Min Pin mix and Cocoa - Long-haired Chihuahua) and 3 cats all adopted as strays from our hospital (Blaze, Daize-Mae and Gypzee). Her favorite past-time is walking with her dogs at Red Top Mountain.
Tammy – Client Services Representative
Tammy joined us in January 2001. She is married with three daughters and 2 grandsons. Her furry family consists of a Bassett Hound, Mandy, 3 Chihuahuas (Princess, Halo and Bitsy), and 2 cats (Nikki and Silverbelle). In her spare time, Tammy enjoys reading, trips to the beach, meeting new people, and playing and spending time with her grandsons, Braden and Barrett.
Jackie – Client Services Representative
Jackie joined us in August 2008 after moving here from Miami, FL where she worked for another veterinary hospital for 3 years. She shares her home with 2 dogs - Koo-Jo, a miniature Schnauzer and Marco Antonio, a mix. In her spare time, Jackie enjoys dancing, walking, camping and any outdoor activity.
Lora– Client Services Representative
Lora joined us in May 2009. She retired from IBM and had a strong desire to work among "animal friends." She is married and has 2 stepchildren, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Her animal family consists of Tanner, a Schnauzer and Dachshund mix rescue who "runs the house!" Lora's past times are her yard and gardening, traveling with her husband Wayne and home renovations.
